Collider posted a new interview with Star Trek actress Zoe Saldana (Uhura) and here is an excerpt
They asked her how excited she is to go back to Star Trek she said:
ZS: Sometimes I almost feel like a three month experience for something that will last forever is not fair for the actor. Because what you guys get to watch, that's for you. The part of shooting the movie, that's for me. I take all those memories and that experience with me. And to get to go back to Star Trek and see Chris' baby blue eyes and get to kiss Spock, Zachary and to work with J.J. I couldn't have been in a better environment from the writers to the producers to everyone. To get to relive that experience in another adventure in space... I'm not looking forward to the dress though. It just means I have to hit the gym two months before we start shooting, so I'm not looking forward to that.

IGN also posted a new interview with Saldana and here is an excerpt
"I had so much fun, but the boys got all the action," she told IGN and several other online sites in a recent interview. "J.J. promised me that in the sequel she will have at least one little fight scene. I'm like, 'Just let me kick a guy in the groin or something.'"
Saldana added that she's been keeping in touch with her Trek cast mates via e-mail, and they all can't wait to reunite for the next film.
"If you guys could really see, because we all have each other on a massive e-mail group, like all the actors and one of the producers and J.J.," she said.
