Honors Star Trek Icon, Actor Leonard Nimoy Veteran actor Robert Ellenstein  and Culture Clash at50th Anniversary 
Charity Gala & Award Ceremony 

Company of Angels  (COA) is celebrating its 50th Anniversary as Los Angeles' oldest non profit professional theater - a milestone in the history of Los Angeles Theater - with an exclusive star-studded Charity Gala and Award Ceremony on Saturday, October 17.

The red carpet event will be held at the Alexandria Hotel  - a LA Historic-Cultural Monument - in the King Edward's Ballroom with Hors D'oeuvres and cocktail Reception


Celebrities attending include:

Leonard Nimoy ("Star Trek") George Takei ("Star Trek") Marlene Forte ("Tyler Perry's House of Pain") Judy Reyes ("Scrubs") David Zayas ("Dexter") and many more ...

Items to be auctioned include: "Spock Ears" from Star Trek IV The Voyage Home (with authentication)  valued at about $10,000  along with additional one-of-a-kind Star Trek Memorabilia  donated by actor Leonard Limoy - and many other items...

Co-founded in 1959 by actor Leonard Nimoy, Company of Angels is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with a prestigious Charity Awards Gala honoring  actor Leonard Nimoy for his role as a founding member as well as veteran actor Robert Ellenstein and Luis Alfaro. 

"I'm looking forward to celebrating Company of Angels' 50th Anniversary Award Ceremony and Gala," said Nimoy. "My congratulations for so many years of good work!"

As the first repertory company in LA and the oldest non profit theater, it was originally incorporated by legendary entertainment attorney Bertram Fields  and included actors Richard Chamberlain and Vic Morrow - it also had veteran actor Robert Ellenstein as its first artistic director -  a role now jointly held by director/actor Armando Molina and actress Marlene Forte (JJ Abrams Star Trek). 

Company of Angels is a unique theater functioning as a town hall where ideas are shared and differences as well as similarities are celebrated -  The spirit of service is indeed alive and well in all that COA does: with the Company of Angels we are truly in the company of Angels!
