Boston Herald posted a new interview with actress Michelle Forbes, who played Ensign Ro Laren in several episodes of Star Trek The Next Generation and Admiral Cain in Battlestar Galactica. Here are a few excerpts from the interview.
The actress talks about turning down the chance to become a regular cast member in Star Trek Deep Space Nine as the Bajoran officer Ro Laren (a role which later went to Nana Visitor as Major Kira Nerys) "I guess I was sort of stubborn and defiant right out of the gate," she said. "I just knew I was too young to do one thing for seven years. I think, like most actors, I want to be challenged. The most important thing to me is I just want to be scared when I go to work."

Olmos also praised Grace Park's performance. "This woman should probably win everything possible," he said. "Her performance in The Plan is one of the most exquisite pieces of work on the film. You'll be very happy with your work."
