Nimoy is class act. Live long and prosper, Leonard!

I'm still kicking myself for not moving to Austin earlier so I could have seen him present the new movie. Exactly one week after I arrive there I'll be sitting in the Alamo Drafthouse with a big 'ol pizza in front of me and a pitcher of beer when the film rolls on day 1!

Always nice to hear from Mr. Nimoy and all the other people involved with the movie. It's why I love the extra features on a DVD, its nice to hear what the actors and directors think and how they feel giving you an idea of who they are, a better understanding of how and why. It makes movies and TV shows more interesting beyond simply just watching the movie.

Even reading about the Austin event on the internet and watching the few video's I was excited, so I could only imagine the energy in that theatre.

I am fully open to this movie, and from what I have seen and read I am without a doubt going to embrace this movie. Reading about some of the fans who have seen the movie and say "this is the Star Trek I have been waiting for" is what I personally have been wanting to say for a while. Regardless of the fact I know what the bridge looks like and some small other tidbits, nothing has been spoiled, I know this movie is still going to take me by storm.

I have a feeling everyone in the theatres on opening night will be clapping.
