Features

By GustavoLeao / 06:14, 26 March 2009 / Star Trek: Nemesis

Empire has posted an exclusive first look at the UK poster for J.J. Abrams upcoming Star Trek movie.

Empire original report can be found here.

UPDATE : Slashfilm claims this poster and other two posters came from a italian site named ScreenWeek and are fan made. To see larger versions of these posters, go here or check them below.

UPDATE 2 : But TrekNews.de just posted one of the new posters in incredibly high resolution. It's the one with the Narada ship shooting at the Enterprise. According to TrekNews.de, the claims of Slashfilm that those posters are fan made are wrong. They've got the Poster directly from Paramount Pictures. Go here.

Personally, even though a couple of these are fan made, I'm not really thrilled with them. The poster with the Narada looks like the Enterprise is being chased by an angry flower. Except for the Enterprise being in there, nothing about these posters screams "epic space adventure", which is what they should portray.

Your theories that the reason McCoy has not been featured in any promotions is because the actor is currently in New Zealand or Australia is unfortunately incorrect.

As you can see, the promotion is almost soley focused on Kirk, Spock, and Uhura.

Very little focus is on the most famous triumvirate in sci-fi history, and it's upsetting.

It's making me very nervous. I hope the movie doesn't ignore their famous relationship --- one of the most important reasons TOS became famous.

These are NICE posters! WOW! Last trek poster I liked was first contact, the big E rushing ahead of the borg cube with Earth in the background.

Oooops I hope I didn't spoil anything. I also hope the posters didn't spoil anything for you no spoilers aloud anal babies.

My hat's off to the chef; nice work! I can see the second one as a poster more than I can the Big Head or the Golden Gate ones.
