Margaret Clark, the chief Trek editor, has said that they'll be leaving the "Abrams-verse" alone for the time being.

No Abramstrek books, huh? | Report this post to moderator

Well, it does appear that Pocket Books has provided the answer to the "will they or won't they" question over whether they'll be doing any Trek 11/Abramstrek/Trek 2.0 (pick one) novels -- they won't be. At least for now if this is any indication.

I wonder if this signals some sort of split occurring with regards to merchandising for the new movie? I know there's a comic book prequel being done, but I haven't heard if there will be a comic book adaptation or post-Trek 11 comic series either.

Interesting...

Al

I really hope those aren't the final covers; especially "Soul Key."
