Comics Continuum posted the cover and info for William Shatner Presents Free Comic Day, a free comic book from Bluewater Productions coming March 2009 and co-written by Star Trek star William Shatner. Here is the info :

Written by William Shatner, Scott Davis, David McIntee and CJ Henderson, art by various, cover by Alan Brooks.

Bluewater Productions and iconic actor/novelist William Shatner will be providing a free 12-page original story prologue of the upcoming adaption of Shatner's best selling book series TekWar for Free Comic Book Day 2009. The book will also feature a preview of the other Shatner-based comic series Quest for Tomorrow and Man O' War as well as a sneak peek of the yet-untitled original story developed by Shatner.

I enjoyed the earlier novels, and some of the comics and TV movies. It's kind of cool that he's rejuvenating that mythos. I wonder if Ron Goulart is involved this time out.
