Legendary writer/artist John Byrne posted in his blog new artwork from the first issue of his upcoming Star Trek comic book titled Crew.
According to Mr Byrne, this two page spread features "the unpainted ship, before her shakedown cruise"
"The story follows one particular character [Number One] from cadet to lieutenant, and not all aboard the Enterprise, or even cruisers." Byrne revealed. The story will features characters from The Cage era, including Captain Robert April, the first captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise in her shakedown cruise and a young Lt. Christopher Pike.
