3-D Look at Box Art for TOS Remastered DVD Season 3 Box Set

TVShowsOnDVD posted a 3-D first look att the box artwork and info for the DVD Box Set of the third season of TOS Remastered episodes, on sale November 18th.

The 7-DVD contains all 23 episodes of the third season, but no word if will include the pilot episode The Cage. Video is listed as Full Frame (1.33:1), and audio is available as English - Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, Spanish Mono and French Mono. Subtitles will be in English, Spanish and French. No info on the special features yet.

wasn't tng shot on 35 and mastered on digibeta? i thought all of the vfx were created for NTSC delivery, which would make an HD release quite problematic... no?

I already have TOS on DVD. The new effects are not worth paying for these titles again.

If the Blu-rays were released, that would be worthwhile. TOS HD-DVDs were spectacular, not for the effects, but for everything else.

According to TrekMovie, THE CAGE remastered will be included in the package. Sorry for the mistake.

I'm still holding out for these on Blu-ray. Hopefully soon. I think it'd be awesome to see TNG done up in HD fashion too someday.
