Starship Farragut, an independent film project based on the original series of Star Trek, won "Best Fan Film of 2008" at the Wrath of Con science fiction conference and film festival in
Starship Farragut won the award for its film "For Want of a Nail," its second production based on the original Star Trek television series. The episode features Captain

Starship Farragut will be releasing two mini-episodes ("Crew Logs") later this year and in 2009.
