CoA is readying to celebrate this milestone in the history of Los Angeles Theater - with a prestigious Charity Awards Gala slated for October 17, 2009 which will honor actor Leonard Nimoy for his role as a founding member as well as veteran actor Robert Ellenstein. IDW publisher Chris Ryall post at his blog the first look at fan favorite artist Gordon Purcell art for the upcoming Star Trek Year Four mini series titled The Enterprise Experiment, written by D.C. Fontana and Derek Chester.
The first issue will be on sale April 16th. The story is a sequel to the third season TOS episode "The Enterprise Incident", and the remastered version of this episode (also written by Fontana) is airing this weekend in the U.S.
