Here is the cover and synopsis for the issue 5 of IDW comic book mini series Star Trek Year Four.

The U.S.S. Enterprise is dispatched to observe a Quark Gluon Plasma experiment at the Gemini Science Station-in orbit between two suns-in an effort to learn more about the beginning of the universe. But the formation of a black hole from the experiment's outcome means eminent danger for Spock and Dr. McCoy who are stranded on the debilitated science station. Written by David Tischman (Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Space Between) with art by Steve Conley, and an incentive cover by Joe Corroney."

Year Four is slowly turning out to be a good addition to the world of Trek comics.

Flat out perfect: outside of photo covers, these covers rule.

I'm sad though because I won't be able to get to a comic book store until Saturday, as I'm out of the state for the holidays.
