The latest issue of Star magazine features a brief article on Star Trek XI. According to the magazine's insiders, former Alias star Jennifer Garner are in talks to play young Spock love interest in the the upcoming Star Trek movie.

Star has learned exclusively that in the new Star Trek film, which is a prequel to the original hit series, the outwardly emotionless vulcan Mr. Spock has a love interest! Abrams, cast her on Alias and has a history of giving jobs to people he worked with before ! Beam her up !"
