Didn't they kill off Chekov in a recent/upcoming episode of New Voyages?

I am happy to see that they are using the Enterprise-B. It should be very interesting. I can't wait until December.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. God, don't you hate it when people start off like that. I sure as hell do. However, I realize why it's used, and it's an apt description of how I'm feeling.

I cannot wait to see this. Thanks so very much to all involved for giving your time and talents to this project. I don't think there is precedent for an undertaking of this scope anywhere in entertainment history. Bona fide on-screen and behind-the-scenes vets, pulling together and giving us (and themselves) another trip down the avenue we never tire of traveling. What more could you ask for? (Oh yeah, there's a film from PAR coming out in a while too, huh?)

Thanks also to Paramount for being so generous with the rights of this rightfully owned Franchise. This is a project of love, not money, and it's heartening to see that they realize that.

Hbasm is so right. We truly are the luckiest fans of anything. Ever.

I'm guessing Cawley is not playing Kirk. His hair is jet black in the photo- in the newer NV eps he's sporting a more Shatner-esque light brown.

With all this talent behind and in front of the cameras it's going to be quite interesting to see how this turns out! Best wishes to all involved!

Looks good. | Report this post to moderator
By: Hbasm (Odo's file, contact) @ 03:48:57 on Jul 16, 2006

Let's see: We have experienced people in this project. We have good writers. We have good actors to give the story life. We have good directing to bring out the best in them. We have good lighting to properly set the mood. We have a good cameraman to make it look professional. We have people with a passion for the project. And no greedy people looking over our shoulders.

We are one spoiled bunch of Trekkers!

Uhura's uniform looks awful - I'm gussing it's an Admiral uniform???? Why do they hate their Admirals so much? - Harriman looks great. I wish Paramount would look at doing some 'lower budget' telemovies so that these fan fiction films didn't have to be made on such limited budgets - I saw the preview to the one with Chekov and the acting looked particulary awful.

One shot telemovies would be great - Hell I'd love to see Titan!

Oh wow!!!

I've got to see this. I'm really stoked about this! I think I'm going to cry:)

Where will it be seen? Is it going to play in theaters?

Christmas can't come soon enough!

To me, truth is not some vague, foggy notion. Truth is real. And, at the same time, unreal. Fiction and fact and everything in between, plus some things I can't remember, all rolled into one big 'thing.' This is truth, to me.
