Titan Design | Report this post to moderator

Admittedly, I haven't seen the "concept notes" or whatever it was that designers had to follow for the Titan design contest, but the end result is rather disturbingly similar to the overall design of the Premonition Class from the game Star Trek: Armada.

I find myself less than impressed, never having liked that design, and the chosen one looks to me like it's an older design than, for example, the Sovereign, Intrepid, or Prometheus Classes. Again, I haven't read the notes, so maybe that's the intent, but the warp nacelles in particular seem to reverse the trend with all of the latest ships of smaller, more streamlined nacelles. The design seems to me to be a step backward from the most recent "canon" trends.

Why is this being treated as news now? It's been like that for at least a month. I previously commented on it here.
