Spellings: "Tora Ziyal", "Dozaria system", "Breen"
Notes:
- Roy Brocksmith, who plays Razka, also portrayed Sirna Kolrami in the
TNG episode "Peak Performance".
- Razka Karn is a trader, who is wanted by the Tholians. He currently
lives in the Badlands, and has no less than 12 outstanding warrants
on Cardassia.
- The Ravanak (sp?) crashed six years ago. It carried 18
Cardassian crew members and 32 Bajoran prisoners of war. Also aboard
were Tora Duprim and Tora Ziyal.
- To__ Vren was caught in the ??? Restaurant picking someone's pocket.
He had previously been caught breaking into the station's Assay Office
(which was first mentioned and shown onscreen in "Q-Less".
- Kasidy has a new job with the Bajoran Bureau of Commerce (BBC), which
means she will get her own freighter, and her missions will stay within
the sector. She also will be getting her own quarters on the station.
"It's a big step."
"A very big step." -- Dax and Bashir, in Quark's
- Minister Rzin (sp) ??????.
- This is the first time the same technobabble has been used two episodes
in a row: There was a magneton signature, indicative of a warp core
failure. This was also mentioned in "Hippocratic
Oath".
- Cardassians' most conforatble temperature is warmer than Humans' or
Bajorans'. This was also alluded to in "The
Wire".
- "I mean who....._____
- 12 people died in the crash of the Ravanak.
- Gul Dukat quoted Kai Marissa:
"What is left after death is but a shell(??)--???."
- Bajoran earrings have a family imprint. Perhaps this is how Kira was
able to identify Li Nalas' earring back in "The
coming".
- Bajoran Resistance fighters had a ???? implant with radioactive isotopes.
The idea was that if they were captured, they would activate the device
to leave a trail of isotopes.
- Tora Ziyal was 13 years old at the time of the crash, which means that
Gul Dukat knew Tora Duprim at least around SD 30000.0 or so.
- The Ravanak was to rendezvous with a transport to take the Toras
to Lisseppia. The Lisseppians have been mentioned in several other
episodes, including "Progress".
- Nog and Jake ran into Kasidy at the Vulcan Restaurant on the station;
Jake and Nog consulted each other on what they thought Ben Sisko should
do when Kasidy got upset at Ben's seeming indifference to her coming
aboard the station.
- Quark has his own special view of women: ~They are the enemy, and
they should be treated accordingly--If she says you aren't spending
enough time with her, threaten to spend even less. If she says you
aren't giving her enough gifts, take back some of the ones you've
already given.~ It's a wonder the Ferengi species hasn't died out.
- This is the first place in Star Trek that the Breen are shown
onscreen. They have been mentioned in several episodes of TNG and
DS9; the Doctor mentioned them in a recent episode of "Voyager"; and they use type-IV(?) disruptors, as
mentioned in Generations. Their world is a frozen wasteland,
according to Gul Dukat, which means that it might be just about right
for humans.
