Moffat, who plays Pallra in this episode, also played the alien
from TNG's "The Game".
- Odo has to make Security Log entries, but he doesn't like making them.
- Odo first worked for Gul Dukat in a murder investigation of Vatrik, a
Bajoran who was a Cardassian sympathiser. It was during this
investigation that Odo was first called "Constable".
- Odo is a watcher, an observer. He sees things that others miss because
they overlook them. He used this skill several times during his
investigation of the murder.
- When DS9 was still Terak Nor, Gul Dukat was in command of the station.
