NEWSFLASH: The Hollywood Reporter *MISQUOTED* Brannon Braga in yesterday's article, particularly regarding the "return to Earth" quote. Here is a transcript between himself and a fan:

There it is, verbatim from the person who talked with him! (Hey Brannon, at TrekWeb we get it right!) Just a little humor there Mr. Braga... anyway, thanks to GF2020 for this info. Read it and weep HR!

Braga Takes Over the Captain's Chair with Bold Plans

From the Hollywood Reporter:

'Voyager' on Altered Course

Fifth season changes of UPN's "Star Trek: Voyager," will include a new executive producer at the helm and a possible change of course for the starship.

Current co-executive producer, Brannon Braga, will take over for the departing Jeri Taylor as the new executive producer along with Rick Berman.

Taylor first joined the franchise in 1990 and co-created "Voyager" with Rick Berman and Michael Piller. The drama remains UPN's highest-rated show, averaging a 4.1 rating/7 share in households and a 3.0 among adults 18-49.

"She has certainly changed the face of this franchise with 'Voyager,' " Braga said of Taylor, who will continue to write scripts for the show. "We all owe a great deal to her."

Braga, who is responsible for bringing Seven of Nine onboard says the show may progress into another quadrant, and even hinted at new cast members. He will also be hiring new writers. [Thanks God!]

"There's a strong possibility we may return to Earth next year," Braga said. "It's got to be exciting and big in scope."
