STAR TREK'S MARINA SIRTIS HEADLINES WORLD PREMIERE OF NEIL SIMON PLAY AT WALNUT STREET THEATRE

Philadelphia -- Actress Marina Sirtis, who won legions of fans as "Deanna Troi" on TV's Star Trek: The Next Generation, and who can be seen the new film Star Trek: Insurrection, will headline the Walnut Street Theatre cast of Hotel Suite. This new comic compilation by Neil Simon runs at the Walnut January 12 through February 28.

For Hotel Suite, Simon selected four favorite scenes from his hit "Suite" plays: two from California Suite, and one each from London Suite and Plaza Suite.

Sirtis will portray the role of "Diana" in two of these scenes. In a scenario from California Suite, Diana, an Oscar-nominated actress, confronts her philandering husband Sydney. In London Suite, Diane and her now ex-husband have a reunion after 16 years. The reunion brings a few surprises and a deal that Diana can't refuse.

Hotel Suite is under the direction of Charles Abbott. Preview performances are January 12-January 19 (excluding 1/18); opening night is January 20 and the production runs through February 28. For tickets and information, call 215/574-3550, ext. 4.
